Vicious Circle: Clutter as a Symptom and a Cause of Negative Emotions (YouTube Video)

Negative emotions complicate and compound the difficulty we have processing clutter. Guilt, shame, fear, grief, anger, and other painful feelings reduce our ability to concentrate and make decisions, and cluttered spaces and piles of stuff can aggravate the emotional distress. Gayle Goddard, professional organizer and owner of The Clutter Fairy in Houston, Texas, hosted the June 2018 online meeting of the Houston Clutter Coaching Meetup Group. She offered a few ideas to help you work around or through the negative emotions.
