Weekly Tittle

The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.

A Season for You

This week’s assignment is to set intentions about how you’d like to spend the holiday season. Your objectives may relate to shopping, gift-giving, cooking, entertaining, or any other aspect of winter or holiday celebrations that are important to you:

  • Make a list of three intentions that you’d like to keep as the focus your holiday celebrations this year. Here are a few examples:
    • I will shop for gifts only for people on my list, and I will stay strictly within my budget.
    • I will use minimal favorite decorations and resist the temptation to add to my collection.
    • In the interest of self-care, I will accept no more than one party invitation or social engagement per week this December.
  • Post your list in a place where you can see and refer to it every day.
  • If you feel the demands of your life and other people’s needs and desires starting to encroach on your holiday plans, consult your three intentions!
  • When in doubt, err on the side of your peace of mind and happiness. Your happiness is a generous gift that you can share with your loved ones. Nurture it.
  • If you choose not to celebrate any holidays at this season, set intentions about how you’ll care for your health, happiness, and sanity while those around you are celebrating.

What a special Tittle this week!I have started my Holiday with #1 checked off my shopping list= I bought a really nice NEW fridge for myself.(has freezer on bottom)
Now #2/yes to invite and #3/yes for leftovers I will accept two party invites as I have one shelf designated for leftovers. Seem simple yet I cleared my entire back door floor to receive my new fridge! What a success I had. Thank you. Marsh
