The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.
Set Project Priorities
This week’s assignment is to review your project list to select key priorities for the start of 2026.
- Make a list of decluttering and organizing projects in your home that are already in the works or in planning stages.
- Answer the following questions about each project on the list:
- Is this project still a high priority for me?
- Will this project move my home toward the goals I’ve set?
- How much time and effort would it take to complete the project?
- Is there anything else that I need to do before I can start on or complete the project?
- Assign a grade or numerical score to each project on the list using any system you like.
- If you haven’t already selected a major project for January, consider making the highest-graded project on your list the focus of your efforts for the rest of this month.
- When you’ve completed the project you selected or on February 1—whichever comes first—revisit your list to select a new project or affirm your commitment to the current one.
