The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.

Lessons to Keep

This week’s assignment is to reflect on what you’ve learned from your decluttering journey as fuel to maintain your commitment to your ongoing projects.

• Reflect on lessons you’ve learned through the course of your decluttering work or that other members of our community have shared with us.
• Jot down three or four statements or affirmations that you’ll use to guide the work that still remains. As an example, here are Dawn’s statements, slightly paraphrased:
  • I will pay attention to what I bring into my home.
  • I will declutter and refresh one area at a time.
  • I will scheduled concentrated times to make headway on specific larger projects.
  • I will encourage myself with constant reminders that I’m moving steadily toward my goals.
• Post your list of statements where you can read it each time you’re setting out to work on decluttering and organizing projects.
