Weekly Tittle

The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.

Pick the Low-Hanging Fruit

This week’s assignment is to identify one easy win to get yourself out of a stuck state. Try any (or all) of these ideas:

  • Pick a location—Choose a physical space, such as a counter, the floor of one room, one closet shelf, a drawer.
  • Pick a focus—Turn your attention to getting a room ready for company, preparing for a kid’s move, prepping for tax time.
  • Pick a deadline—Use an upcoming event or milestone as the target to clarify a suitable project or starting point.
  • Pick a dream—Spend some time imagining your decluttered space, how it will look, and how you will use it.
