Exploring the Boundary Between You and Your Stuff: Clutter and Self-Image

It seems to be part of the human condition that our stuff becomes an extension of ourselves. Just like our experiences and actions, our things become a part of us. But when things get tangled up in our self-image, it’s hard to let go of them.

At the September 2015 meeting of the Houston Clutter Coaching Meetup, Gayle Goddard, professional organizer and owner of The Clutter Fairy in Houston, Texas, talked about how the lines between you and your stuff get blurred in the first place, and how to start seeing the boundaries clearly again.
