| Future topics | Just wanted to say I am highly motivated by giving away items for free on Nextdoor or Freecycle when the receiver is responsive and appreciative. One woman was so nice recently when I decluttered my Easter stuff that I was able to let go of more sentimental items than I had planned. Likewise with some extra garden hoses and a man with a tree farm. Another sent me pictures of my grandmother's figurines on her bookcase saying they reminded her of her grandmother. This can take some effort but the nrewards of connections with "strangers" is so rewarding. |
