Survey #288—Full Response from Agatha
| What did you learn about yourself or your stuff through your decluttering and organizing process in 2025? | I greatly lacked motivation. I excelled at procrastination. I let "life get in the way". It took so much energy to just keep up with maintenance. |
|---|---|
| What new decluttering or organizing ideas, methods, or techniques proved helpful in 2025? Were there any game-changers? | I started doing tasks that were approx. 3 min long or less NOW. "Just do it right now". |
| What did you accomplish in 2025 for which you’d like to pat yourself on the back (and enjoy the acknowledgments of The Clutter Fairy community)? | I'm rearin & ready to go for 2026. |
| How do you plan to apply what you learned in 2025 to your 2026 projects? What new decluttering or organizing projects would you like to take on next? | I will set a win-able daily organizing mini session. |
| Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | Show idea: A YEAR AND A DAY OF GAYLE. : have her start us on organizing our homes. (It could be a whole series, or a adjunct like the Tittle) Like if she was showing up to a new client. Personal realization: I need accountability. Possibly someone else like me that needs to organize their house one bite at time and not give up. Not sure how to find someone- or a few different people. Clutter Fairies info continues to be par excellence! But I realize I have the info, I just need help (accountability) DOING THE DOING. Thanks Ed & Gayle for all you do! Cheers -Agatha |
| Future topics | How do make through the long haul. Without giving up, getting discouraged, or just plain worn out. |
