| What did you learn about yourself or your stuff through your decluttering and organizing process in 2025? | I learned that, amazingly, I could declutter one item a day in 2025. I have a list in my Notes app. The year is not over yet and some items I don't even remember. |
| What new decluttering or organizing ideas, methods, or techniques proved helpful in 2025? Were there any game-changers? | Key phrases that helped were "I deserve nice things" for so-so items, and "Somebody else could use it" for nice stuff. |
| What did you accomplish in 2025 for which you’d like to pat yourself on the back (and enjoy the acknowledgments of The Clutter Fairy community)? | That "One item a day" challenge I decided to do... especially because I dealt with my own things and house items. I do not declutter my DH's belongings but when he got rid of things on his own, they made the list! His total is about five but I'll take the win. |
| How do you plan to apply what you learned in 2025 to your 2026 projects? What new decluttering or organizing projects would you like to take on next? | 2026 will be my Digital Declutter year. |
| Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | Maybe Gayle could go back to the strangest things she removed from clients' houses. I remember some stories that were really good and there might be new ones? |
| Future topics | I'll conclude with my best wishes for 2026. Out of about 80 people on site, I'm still the only one at work who donates books and other useful household items. Everything I leave on the breakroom table at night is gone in the morning, so maybe 2026 will bring some companionship! Otherwise I am very happy to able to count on the two of you to show me week after week that I'm on the right path. |
