Share a word, a few words, a phrase, or more to describe the CURRENT or USUAL condition of your primary bedroom. Our primary bedroom is a compromise between my minimalist taste and my husband's attachment to big pieces of furniture. With little decor it works.
Share a description of the IDEAL state of your main bedroom. We’re talking aspirations here, so feel free to write in terms of appearance, mood, activities, contents, decor, or whatever elements would make your bedroom “just right”!Anything Japanese style: bare yet functional !
What factor or factors stand in the way of having the “just right” bedroom you described above? In addition to compromises on personal tastes in a shared bedroom, we do have to fit in there some items that cannot go elsewhere in the house, like a big display cabinet. And yes I would like to get rid of this cabinet but that's not going to happen!
List an item currently in your primary bedroom that you acknowledge has absolutely no business being in the bedroom. My husband would say the cat.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.Any decluttering regrets for any of you? Or from Gayle's clients?
Future topics

Letting go of things for special occasions that never happen (clothes, shoes, jewelry, make-up and china first come to mind) or that you would like to change (in the family of a friend of mine, they had a yearly tradition of cleaning up the silverware for their Christmas dinner and my friend always complained the silver changed the taste of the food...). Also, good things are meant to be shared and not "saved", so take out the fancy chocolates and wines before they go bad!
