Describe ways in which aging has negatively affected your ability, willingness, or desire to declutter or organize your home.Willingness - I've made lots of progress, but I still resist scheduling consistent time toward clutter projects because I want to prioritize being with family, volunteer service, and other aspects of life that bring me joy. I either make time if I'm "inspired" to work on an area to ease its use/appearance, or short-term if I guilt myself into getting busy on collections I don't want to leave to my heirs to sort out.
Describe ways in which getting older has positively affected your ability, willingness, or desire to declutter or organize your home.Using the decluttering 'muscle' repeatedly / sporadically over the past 4 years has made it easier to make decisions. I've also found that as I get older and have talked with my children about this, it's become easier to let go of items that used to be more sentimental to me.
