Which of the following statements describe situations that you’ve experienced during the last year? Please check all that apply.
  • I’ve felt guilty about buying new clothes because I already have a lot.
  • I own so much clothing that I can’t easily see it all.
  • I own clothing items that I’m keeping until they fit again.
Please list any other “wardrobe malfunction” you’ve experienced that we didn’t include above.I love clothes and shoes, but have teeny closets in my new apartment., so my fabulous selection needs curating, and that's hard to do since I love almost everything in there! I also have gained some weight, unusually, so until I get those pounds off, I'm only wearing a fraction of them.
Complete the following statement: “The biggest problem with managing my wardrobe is that __________.”I have clothes for every occasion, and tons of great shoes and accessories, but my problem is just having too much for the available closet space. And if I box up things, and they're not visible, I'm unlikely to select them to wear.
What specific categories or types of clothing do you most struggle to manage?hanging clothes, spring/summer/fall (because Houston)
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.I consulted a wardrobe stylist to get rid of things but she loved everything I own too, so we just had things altered to be more perfect, and she helped me with new outfit ideas. It was a good investment for using all my clothes.
But now I'm in a MUCH SMALLER APARTMENT WITH VERY LITTLE CLOSET SPACE. Removing all the winter things made hanging them possible (sweaters and tees are folded in an armoire), but it's all so crammed in that things are hard to find. I also need to separate out the clothes that currently fit and push the rest aside until I get back to my normal weight.

I was thinking that I need to very critically assess each piece and become more minimalist. But that requires EMOTIONAL SEPARATION FROM THESE CLOTHES AND SHOES I LOVE and wear at least on some occasions. I like having special occasion clothes although I don't wear them often.
