Survey #255—Full Response from Leslie
| Is there a room or space in your home that you don’t love or that you tend to avoid using—or even entering? What factors contribute to your distaste for or lack of enjoyment of this space? | Desk in dining room, also medicine cabinet and toiletries, extra personal care products. |
|---|---|
| Do you have regrets about anything that you’ve discarded or given away in your decluttering process? If you answered yes, how do you manage negative feelings about your choice? If you answered no, to what do you credit your satisfaction with the choices you’ve made? | No, because I try not to force myself to get rid of an item if I don't feel at peace about letting it leave my life. Also, I declutter small spaces at a time and also try to hit all areas of my home over the course of a year, instead of trying to do a lot of decluttering at once. |
| Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | I'm struggling with recipe books and many pieces of paper with handwritten recipes from watching cooking shows. It is so tedious and time consuming. I wish I could have someone else do it for me. |
