Please share your suggestions for unconventional places to take donated items (for example, a local florist’s shop for empty flower vases). If you mention a specific business or organization, please include your city, state, province, region, and/or country in your answer.Obviously local charity shops - some specialise as there is one in Kings Heath which is just books (which is south Birmingham England UK)

All sorts of crafting (and other) stuff would be welcomed at https://www.facebook.com/BirminghamScrapStore/?locale=en_GB
this is Northfield (which is south Birmingham England UK)
Describe an activity or interest for which you acquire far more supplies or materials than you tend to use over a reasonable period of time.I’m recovering my love of reading (it suffered due to my disability) and can now no longer use physical books so kindle books are my way forward - I got my staff to help me go through my physical books and check if a kindle version and send a free sample so I can when I’m ready (and capable) to purchase kindle versions of one’s I still want the physical books are on the whole being sold or donated and only a very few that are not available in kindle version and that I want to keep for sentimental reasons are being kept I’m being ruthless with the rest so my excessive buying of physical books that I then have to buy more bookcases for has been nearly totally wiped out as kindle does take up any extra space as I need my phone iPad and laptop for other uses anyway so the kindle app is brilliant and it has gotten me to slow my actual acquisition of books as I get samples which helps me eliminate some purchases and sometimes I pay for kindle unlimited and then binge read so don’t keep the books

Again my disability stopped my over purchasing of cooking and crafting supplies and made me get rid of lots of items that I’m no longer capable of using and that my staff don’t use either
