| Future topics | - organizing for minimal day by day effort. After some decluttering, anyone can shove everything into bins and into a closet/attic/spare room/garage. But then your house is still a mess except for those few moments after you put everything away - AGAIN - each week, month, etc. But how do we integrate organization and storage into the places we actually USE our items, so cleaning up only takes a few seconds, and things are right where we need them to be because they are right where we use them. The reason to NOT clen up before an organizer comes is not just so she will know WHAT we use, but also WHERE and how we use things, and what items are used together (e.g. - for me to do mending, I need my sewing scissors, seam ripper, thread, pin, needles, patching fabric) |
