| Describe the types or categories of paper clutter that you find the most challenging to sort, purge, and organize. | My greatest challenge: Papers that I may need at a later date or will need at a later date that do not have a direct connection with finance. I have a "time will tell" bin, but have not been good at putting an "expiration" date on it. Perhaps I should "batch" my papers that I may need at a later date and then put the expiration date for that batch on my calendar. |

If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | My challenge is making headway when I am living in a small space, as I need to be able to set up, sort through and make decisions, and then put away -- all during the time allotted. Have made a bit of progress by cutting down my "sorting project" in size, but could use some practical ideas about how to get around this challenge and make more progress on the backlog. The incoming paper and other items are occasionally a challenge but pretty much under control: however, the backlog is not going anywhere fast! |
| Future topics | I love all of your presentations - even if they don't directly relate to me, I can often get an application from them. i.e. I don't have a garage, live with someone else, collect beads, have a pet, etc., but can still apply some of the concepts to practical matters or use your ideas to help my friends. Finding time / planning projects you have always wanted to do: i.e. Exercise, learn a language, instrument, etc. while keeping neat surroundings - anything scheduling tricks that have worked for either of you. |
