If you shop in thrift stores, resale shops, charity stores, pawn shops, or other sources of second-hand goods, what kinds of things do you look for? Are there any categories of items that you would ONLY buy used? Any categories of items that you would NEVER buy used?I have looked for pretty, seasonal items in my size and price range in the past and may continue to do so. Mostly I am also considering what to put "back on the river of stuff" now, as you say, Gayle!!
If you’ve ever completed a major decluttering project, have you experienced re-cluttering anxiety afterwards? Please describe your experience and how you’ve tried to manage this feeling.Well, about 2 years ago, the clutter was controlled visually.
March 2024 and again in October 2024 I started pulling everything out of my 4 closets to get rid of it.
Having stuff in my living space, I cannot think.
How often do you deep-clean your kitchen, going above and beyond whatever daily or several-time-a-week routines you maintain?Hardly ever
What routines or habits have been useful to ensure that your kitchen is always clean?Picking up or wiping up visible messes.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.Does Minimalism often show a deep sadness inside the person?
Future topics

Sometimes I think it is nice to just enjoy a weekend without thinking about where all my stuff is going to go tomorrow... I've had trouble eating without queasiness due to my health and it's funny how something that seemingly small changes my whole life... I Love time at peace in quiet or the radio or an interesting video or article, or a refreshing nap, shower, or conversation... Also writing a journal type entry, or a long overdue letter! What Pure Joy! Thank you two and the upbeat, cheery audience for being there for me for the past 10 years or so.. it's all good memories (except the phrase about ex boyfriends because is it anti-semitic? Well, I can agree, not with the sound of the syllables, but with the concept that some old stuff ... it might be freeing to get rid of!!). Again, THANK YOU ☺️☺️ BOTH!!

AN OLD TOPIC I LIKED THAT MOTIVATES ME GREATLY IS THE GOAL TO PASS THINGS ON WHILE I'M STILL BREATHING SO I CAN MAKE SURE IT GOES TO INTENDED RECIPIENT, DOESN'T END UP IN A DUMPSTER OR THE TRASH, AND SO THAT MAYBE I MIGHT HAVE A MOMENT OF JOY SEEING THE HAPPINESS IN THE RECIPIENT'S FACE!
