Keeping them was expected since I was "lucky to get anything at all". I threw most of the objects straight into the trash or handed them right off to Good Will. When the people in my life ask me what I want for a gift, with gratitude I ask for specific items that I want, need, or will use up thus keeping the decluttering to a minimum. |
