August 3, 2024

PronounsShe/her
Describe an item or collection in your home that represents something important about you or your life. The item(s) may be related to your history, your present life, or your dreams, goals, and desires for the future. My collection of dictionaries represents my lifelong interest in learning languages
Complete the following statement: “If I had to let go of ___________, it would feel like losing a part of myself.”all my books
Imagine if a complete stranger walked through your home right now. How might that stranger describe the person or people who live in your space? It would be hard for her to downsize to a smaller retirement home. There's a lot of books and CDs, although I can't see the CD player.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. What are your thoughts on the Swedish Death Cleaning method? There are a lot of YouTube videos on it. For me, the title is a bit off-putting but there seems to be some sense in it.
Future topics

I think you always come up with good topics. I'm always interested in practical methods e.g. "To thin the Herd" and the psychology of why it's hard to let go of things.
Case histories of clients you've helped, obviously without giving too much info that they could recognize themselves. Can you identify any kind of typical pattern or themes among your clients or are they all very different? Is there a tipping point or crisis that causes people to reach out to you for help?
Possibly invite a guest speaker on a specific topic
