Which of the following statements best describes your living situation?Other
Please elaborate, if you wish.

We moved out on the kids taken only our bedroom furniture. We “curated” the stuff we added to our place as I like furniture mostly from the 40’s .. The kids have gotten smart and given us stuff they don’t want. Karma hit though as we got the leftovers from my mother in law’s apartment, my mom’s condo and a ton of tools from my father in law’s place. Luckily if it wasn’t for your show it would have been much more crowded here. Mostly it is a storage closet and the garage.

What environmental or social issues most concern you with respect to your efforts to declutter, organize, and maintain your home? All of the above- I also like to thrift shop if I need something ie furniture (I love the craftsmanship of 40’s furniture) I do buy new stuff bedding, couches but I make sure I take care of it so it lasts a long time. If it is still decent I will donate it, if it is not I make sure I dispose of it properly.
What outdoor activity or activities tend to take time away from your indoor chores in the warmer months?Weeding, planting and pruning and mulching not good at it either. Not much of a gardener. Maintenance of outside of house- lighting etc.
We’ve been so busy taken care of our parent’s places we’ve got a lot of catching up to do.
Thank goodness it snowed so I can put it off another week!
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s).I’m working on my decluttering goals- my storage closet is full and just crazy right now- rotating the seasonal stuff - winter to spring to summer and of course it snowed!
Do you have any suggestions about seasonal overlaps. Ie I watch the weather forecast
For the week To see I will be working inside or outside. I put seasonal clothes in a tub and weed through them as I change my closet winter to spring/summer. I put coats, boots and gloves away so there is room for lighter summer jackets. I try to do it quickly as possible so there isn’t lingering clutter but maybe it is what it is-
