In most years, do you make at least one New Year’s resolution?Yes
How successful are you usually in keeping your New Year’s resolutions?
Somewhat successful
How would you most like for 2024 to be different from 2023?I would like to have more people over for dinner, and even possibly rent out the spare room, if I ever get done decluttering it.
Referring specifically to your answer to the previous question, what do you plan to do to make your vision for 2024 come true?Just keep decluttering as I have been for a long time now. But honestly, I’m exhausted, and last week I noticed SOme space around some areas… so I also really feel like taking a small break and celebrating.
Where will you be and what will you be doing when the clock strikes midnight to ring in 2024?Probably with family. But I realized that it’s celebrating during Daytime the day after on Jan 1st that resonates more with me. Going out for a walk, or breakfast etc.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s).Just that I’ve been signing as J or C or CJ but i think there’s someone else who has been too! Lol.
And thanks for your session on how long does it take- wow, I didn’t realize that it’s totally normal for paper clutter to take soooo long. Plus, after I declutter paper, my mind is all jumbled from having read a million random things from different times and places. It’s both getting easier as I, “thin the heard,” and more jumbled because then I combine things from various half decluttered boxes together, and even if I do so with contents separated by folders, it still gets jumbled. Phew though, a lot of decluttering has been done and I need a celebration!
Future topics

It doesn’t seem like this is you anymore, moving on.
And cultivating a feeling of abundance in order to declutter more easily.
