PronounsShe/her
Do you celebrate any holidays in the period from late-October to early-January?Yes
What is your FAVORITE part of the holiday season, and why?I love Fall but no longer celebrate Halloween. I don’t give out candy. Getting out my pumpkin decor makes me happy to change seasons! I bake banana nut bread and pumpkin bread to freeze and give as Thanksgiving presents. Kitchen smells wonderful! Decorating changes the mood if the house.
What is your LEAST FAVORITE part of the holiday season, and why?I don’t like kids coming to my house to get candy. Now in Denver, turn off porch light and this says, ‘don’t come to this house!’

I don’t buy candy. I do give to children if friends baked sugar cookies with orange icing cut as pumpkins.
How ready is your home for any decorating, gift-wrapping, and/or holiday entertaining that you have planned?Other
Please elaborate, if you wish.I decorate Fall in Oct/Nov. Decor is Winter in Dec-Jan 15. No longer give presents. Bo longer get in crowds to buy items. May send a gift card or check. Rarely. I am 74 and ‘over the hype’. Have no January debt. That’s the true goal.
Describe the feeling, emotional state, or “vibe” you’d like for your home to convey to your family and guests during holiday gatherings, meals, and celebrations.Vibe is winter is here and enjoy relstionships and not ‘things’.
What gift would you most like to receive this year?No war.
