What factors do you consider when you’re thinking about giving things away to family members, friends, neighbors, or other people you know?That l am not creating a burden for them. Generally, l donate items to charitable organizations, libraries and community projects.
What factors do you consider when you’re thinking about donating items to a charity, shelter, or unknown recipient?I feel they are providing an important service. I do not look upon the act as generous on my part.
What is your all-time favorite hand-me-down, cast-off, or regifted item?A hand me down pot and a lid that l use almost everyday and will certainly outlive me. I have no real feelings about anything l have parted with.
Name one or more of your favorite Clutter Fairy-isms (e.g., “thin the herd”) or decluttering and organizing mnemonic devices (e.g., OHIO—Only Handle It Once).Dense, scatterized, up in my grill, representative sample and, as always, thin the herd. What is significant about Gayle’s communication is that it is thoughtfully structured and delivered to your community with compassion and specifically gear to the individual seeking assistance. Gayles ability to really listen and carefully respond allows the person to absorb what makes movement forward possible. This is a special kind of intellect that allows for the autonomy of the other person. Thank you.
Future topics

I do not have a specific topic selection, but l would like to again suggest that Ed may find the npr podcast on brain research as a possible avenue for new topics. It is a really engaging program with a recent program discussing learning how to experience meaningful connection with our future selves. I believe the title is something like, “You, the future is now”. Thank you both.
