Name the hobby, craft, art form, or other recreational activity that contributes the most stuff to your living space, including raw materials, tools, equipment, other supplies, reference materials, specialized furniture, etc.knitting
Reflecting on your answer to the previous question, describe the part of the activity that contributes most to the clutter in your home. Your answer may be based on volume, size, complexity, or any other factor that makes it difficult to store and manage the stuff for your activity.Although my yarns and tools are well organized, they take up a lot of space in my appartmemt.
Reflecting on your answer to the first question, describe how the cluttered state of stuff related to this activity negatively impacts your ability to carry out or enjoy the activity.I have a huge stash of high-quality yarn that is enough to keep me busy for the coming 8 -10 years. I therefore imposed a moratorium on buying new yarn - which cuts out the joy of buying new yarn (sigh!).
A lot of unfinished projects. Procrastinating on finishing projects keeps me from enjoying some beautiful clothing that I could wear if I'd just finish these projects.
About how much time do you spend on the activity in question in an average week?I knit sporadically, but if I do so, I might easily spend 10 -15 hours a week knitting.
What is the hobby, craft, art form, or other recreational activity that you think EVERYONE should try? There are so many arts and crafts and so many personal tastes and talents. Who am I to tell anyone what to spend their time with. Besides it might become boring, if everyone did the same thing.
Name one or more of your favorite Clutter Fairy-isms (e.g., “thin the herd”) or decluttering and organizing mnemonic devices (e.g., OHIO—Only Handle It Once).stem the inflow (.......my most logical method being: Stop buying so much stuff!)
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s).Gayle, what's your estimation on how many beads you own? If your beads were human inhabitants, would it be a village or a small city? Just curious.
Future topics

Something in the nature of "clutter and what needs to be considered if you are going back and forth between two (or more) homes"
I go back and forth between Germany and Morocco each year.
