About seven years ago, I was going through paper that I had tossed into a bag and put in a closet because company came over unexpectedly. I thought it was just junk mail. Turns out that a check for $10,000 was in a plain envelope from the new company. (They paid pensions up front.) Big thanks to the Clutter Fairy!!!
