What are your most compelling reasons to reduce clutter and/or to get organized? These may include your personal goals, work objectives, plans, fears, physical limitations, lifestyle choices, family history, etc.I really need to organize this mess but I lack motivation and how the heck do I do this?
What external factors drive or support your organizing efforts? Think about positive or negative signals from outside yourself that influence your desire or inclination to declutter and organize. (Examples: pressure from your spouse, stuff inherited from elder family members, a need to work from home, etc.)I can't have anybody over, ever, and I need to make some money off this stuff. My check isn't enough and costs keep going up, well over the amount I get.
No one offers to help, and even turn down pay because it's not enough.
What internal factors support your organizing efforts? Think about positive or negative thoughts or feelings that influence your desire or inclination to declutter and organize. (Examples: the urge to start a new hobby, feelings of guilt or shame, a desire to share your surplus with people who need it, etc.)Eventually, I would like to sell my house and move, but not until I get it cleaned up and fixed up. I really want to but my limitations are physical and mental.
What is the most exciting way in which your life will be different when you achieve your organizing goal(s)?I can sell my house and move. I can be free to leave and go where I want to for the last chapter of my life.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.I've been Google searching for several years, but seldom find the local places to sell stuff. The local one I always went to closed down sales. I guess they weren't making enough money. The neighborhood sure misses the weekly flea market. I would like to know how to find other places to sell my stuff. I have household and collectibles. I would even sell in bulk to other sellers if I could find them.
