Please select the statement that best describes your future plans with regard to moving:I plan to move within the next five years or more.
Describe any thoughts and feelings that the idea of moving invokes for you, or any positive or negative connotations that moving carries. (This might include memories of past moves, plans for future moves, or your experience with someone else’s move that was significant for you.)Used all of your advice for 2019 move, which was just after inheriting my parents' stuff. We had nine months to prepare & did OK. BECAUSE of your tips. I used graph paper to plan the furniture for rooms at new house, sorted everything before boxing/binning up all the small items like clothes & dishes, etc., & used pros for the big heavy items. Salvation Army still picked up at that time & they filled the entire truck full of ours & my parents' possessions. In that frame of mind, downsizing continued after the move, but at a gentle pace. Tweaking for a nice balance, and to create pretty calming spaces.

Now, husband's health means we move again in a few years. So, even though there are empty spaces in this house, things keep going out the door. I don't want to go, but needs must. Making a move easier now will lessen heartache when I must give up this lovely home.
Consider the present condition of your home and its contents, and then answer this question: If you had to move from your home in a short timeframe, what would the greatest challenges be?1) Finding a local mover, in this small town.
2) Getting my husband to let go of stuff. Easy for me--I've been doing it for over 4 years now.
3) Resetting banking, cable services, and changing addresses for credit cards, licenses, etc.
4) Physical strength--I was only 63 last time, but will be 72or 73, maybe older next move.
If money, logistics, work, citizenship, travel time, etc., were no obstacle, where would your ideal place to live be? (For example: Ed would like to live in a penthouse in the heart of Rome with a place in the Alban Hills where he’d go on the weekend. He can dream, can’t he?)Oh. Here. It's why we chose this town.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.thanx. Keep up the good work.
Future topics

Disaster organization. Keeping duplicate records away from flooding or fire zone. Owning enough pet carriers to evacuate. Etc.
