Briefly describe the category or collection of items.Ha! I have a collection of paper products for parties....four HUGE tubs (divided by seasons, type of celebration, holidays, etc.) under my very tall bed! LOL
Which of these statements best describes your strategy or approach for keeping the category of stuff you described above under control?Fortunately I have enough room....but wouldn't know what I have if you asked! Something should be done...
Describe any issues you experience with using, storing, displaying, cleaning, maintaining, or organizing the category or collection you described above.I RARELY use it. I have no idea what I have. I COULD make is useful...and slowly pare it down by employing it for every day use....for instance, I could use baby shower paper plates and napkins for dinner tonight....so I wouldn't have to wash dishes...especially since I no longer know ANYONE in their childbearing years! LOL
Does you home have a “command center”—a spot where you spend a significant amount of time in a variety of activities (e.g., watching TV, reading, doing paperwork, eating meals or snacks, etc.)?Yes
Where is your command center?Bedroom
If you sit in your command center and look around you, which of the following items are within close reach?
  • Books in progress
  • Remote controls
  • Electronic devices or accessories
How well does your command center fulfill the functions for which you use it?

I actually work on my bed...and it now works well. But I recently "fleshed" it out for my purposes. I traded the small nightstand I had for a large dresser. The top serves as an XL nightstand worthy of all my books and the drawers serve the purpose of housing my computer and items necessary for work.
