Briefly describe the category or collection of items.kitchen equipment
Which of these statements best describes your strategy or approach for keeping the category of stuff you described above under control?I shop without regard for how much I already have, so this category tends to grow out of control on a regular basis.
Describe any issues you experience with using, storing, displaying, cleaning, maintaining, or organizing the category or collection you described above.I do not have enough storage in my kitchen, so I have to store kitchen equipment all over the house. My turkey roasting pan is on the top shelf of the bedroom closet, my stand mixer is the coat closet. I even store baking sheets etc under the sofa. I had to make one coat closet into a "pantry", (so now I do not have enough room to store coats). I do use all the equipment, so I cannot get rid of it. I just do not have enough kitchen storage.
Does you home have a “command center”—a spot where you spend a significant amount of time in a variety of activities (e.g., watching TV, reading, doing paperwork, eating meals or snacks, etc.)?No

Future topics

This is tax time, and I find it totally depressing to face that kind of paperwork. I would rather clean out dirty garages, than do taxpaperwork. I get depressed just thinking about it., months ahead of time. Any suggestions for handling deep emotions, like depression or anxiety, that occurs with one particular decluttering/organizing problem (like paperwork). I know to break it down into small sessions, over a period of time. But that does not seem to help the depression. It just makes it longer.
