The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.
Take It There Now!
This week’s assignment is to put Dana K. White’s “take it there now” approach into practice as many times as you can:
- As you work through any decluttering task or project this week, try to keep the lessons of Decluttering at the Speed of Life in mind.
- Start with the easiest task: Clear any obvious trash from the area you’re working on.
- Next focus on items that already have a defined storage place in your home. To the extent that you’re able, carry each of these items directly to the place it belongs.
- Notice what you notice: Are you happy with your results? Did “take it there now” help or impede your decluttering effort?
