Are you packing for a move\, for long-term storage offsite\, for storage in your home\, or to send something in the mail or by courier service? At the August meeting of the Houston Clutter Coaching Meetup Group\, we’ll offer advice on best practices and warn you about pitfalls to avoid so your stuff will be in good shape when it finally comes out of the box. \nThis will be a “Clutter Conversation” online event. We’ll meet using the Zoom.us video-conferencing app\, a free tool that allows us to share a conversation as streaming video and take questions from the audience. Up to 100 people can participate live\, and as always\, we’ll record the event to post on YouTube. About a week before the event\, we’ll send a reminder notice to everyone who has RSVP’d to provide instructions for sharing your questions and comments live by video\, audio\, or chat. \nRSVP at Meetup.com or by sending e-mail. \nJoin the meeting from PC\, Mac\, Linux\, iOS\, or Android by clicking this button:\nJoin online meeting\n  \nIf you’ve never used Zoom before\, your device will download a small\, free app that will enable you to participate. (Zoom is very easy to use\, but we suggest clicking the link a few minutes before the meeting starts to download the app and take a look around the interface. The next time you join a meeting\, you won’t have to download the app again.) \nIf you’d like to contribute a comment or question\, here are the instructions:\n\nTo comment by video: Make sure your camera is on. Use the “raise hand” button in the chat area of the Zoom interface to let us know you’d like to speak and that you’re willing to appear on video. We’ll be moderating the event\, and if we see your hand raised and your camera on\, we’ll introduce you\, then turn on your microphone and enable your video.\nTo comment by audio: Make sure your camera (if you’re on a device that has one) is turned off. Use the “raise hand” button to let us know you’d like to speak. We’ll introduce you\, then turn on your microphone so you can ask your question or comment.\nTo share a comment by chat: Type your comment into the chat area of the Zoom interface. You may share it with everyone\, or direct it only to the host.
